Cycling across Latin America to understand Climate Change

Climate Change is one of the major challenges our society is facing today. However, despite the overwhelming evidence pointing to an inminent socio-ecological crisis, people around the world are struggling to come up with effective solutions to stop Earth´s warming. Despite living in the era of technology and communication, the alarming lack of action in most sectors of society is demanding answers to several important questions: Why should we do something about it? What can we do about the issue? Or who should do something about it?

In order to find the answers to these questions, I have decided to cycle more than 14,000km, from the tropical Costa Rica, to Ushuaia, also known as the "End of the World". My objective is to meet and interview people from different ethnicities, backgrounds and financial statuses, who share their concern about a changing climate. During the trip, I will be filming a movie that will compile the highlights of the ride, and discuss different aspects related to the interviewees perceptions and perspectives on climate change.

The movie will be released by the end of 2020, once I am done with my journey.
